Southwold beach is just a few minutes away and a great place to while away time, so why not pack a picnic and make a day of it? Other towns nearby worth visiting include Aldeburgh, Orford, Saxmundham and Walberswick or jump in the car and head out further afield to attractions such as Halesworth Museum, Snape Maltings concert hall, Framlingham Castle, Go Ape Thetford and Yoxford Antiques Centre and Gardens. If you fancy a walk rewarded with some captivating views along the way, then pay a visit to Suffolk Coast and Heaths which has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, but make sure you take your camera!
