Kingfisher Cottage, 11 Airebank Terrace is a lovely, terraced cottage settled in Gargrave, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. With three bedrooms sleeping up to five guests, the cottage welcomes families, friends, and couples to explore North Yorkshire's rolling countryside. The cottage has roadside parking for one car and an enclosed patio to the front, along with a rear garden where you can dine alfresco with views of the River Aire and surrounding countryside. Inside, the ground floor hosts everything you need for a self-catering holiday, including a well-equipped kitchen and utility, complete with an electric oven, induction hob, fridge and freezer. You'll find a spacious living/dining room to savour family dinners by the warmth of the gas stove, followed by an evening of board games from the selection. A second sitting room offers further entertainments with a wall-mounted TV set above a gas coal-effect fire. Upstairs, there are three well-appointed bedrooms, a king-size, double and single, each with storage space for your belongings. Start your day with a hot shower in the sleek family shower room before starting the day's adventures. Set within the village of Gargrave, a choice of nearby eateries includes The Masons Arms and The Old Swan, while you can stock up on essentials at the local convenience store. The area is a haven for walkers and cyclists with the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, cycle route 68, and the Pennine Way all nearby, whilst the market town of Grassington is a great place to start exploring the Yorkshire Dales. You'll find plenty of walking routes and incredible sites such as Malham Cove, Janet's Foss, and Parcevall Hall Gardens all within reach. Spend a day exploring Skipton, home to the impressive, medieval Skipton Castle, or make your way to Settle for Settle and Giggleswick Golf Club, and Scaleber Force Waterfall. Further afield, you'll find Clitheroe, Harrogate, and Knaresborough, whilst the Forest of Bowland AONB offers even more cycling and walking opportunities through a unique moorland landscape.
