Casa Merocca is a homely, mid-terrace cottage resting on a residential street near to the centre of Weymouth. Head further into the centre to stroll and discover the labyrinth of tunnels at the Victorian Nothe Fort or cross the bridge and watch the boats sail along the harbour. Pack your towels and relax along Weymouth's golden, sandy beach with fish and chips, before admiring the incredible sculptures at Sandworld. Find more stunning beaches south of Casa Merocca, including Castle Cove and Chesil Beach, whilst the wild Isle of Portland hosts several must-see attractions including Portland Castle, Blacknor Fort and Portland Bill Lighthouse. For a wildlife haven be sure to stop off at RSPB Radipole Lake and venture into Dorset AONB for dazzling, ancient coastlines, heathland, and woodland. Journey north to the market town of Dorchester with plenty of museums to delight the family historians, as well as an unearthed, 4th-century Roman Town House and National Trust's Max Gate, Thomas Hardy's former home. As you venture along the Jurassic coast, stop off at Bridport, a bustling market town with an abundance of charming cafés, Bridport & West Dorset Golf Club to test your swing and uncover fascinating fossils at Bridport Museum. With endless stretches of golden sand within easy reach, Casa Merocca is the perfect base for your coastal retreat.
