Within a few minutes of leaving the property you will find yourself on Weymouth's sandy beach. The shallow water is perfect for bathing and enjoying the seaside entertainment such as traditional donkey rides, Punch and Judy shows, Harry’s amusements and other children’s attractions. The town centre is adjacent to the beach and has a good selection of popular high street brands and quirky local shops nestling in the pretty little lanes of Weymouth. There are numerous restaurants, pubs and cafes where you have a wide choice of cuisines ranging from harbour dining featuring freshly dived scallops and local seafood as well as traditional fish and chips. Dorset has a multitude of hidden gems to discover. A short drive East will take you to famous and very popular Durdle Door and Lulworth cove, Chapman’s Pool and Kimmeridge bay. Head to the West and you will discover the beautiful villages of Abbotsbury, West Bexington, Burton Bradstock, West Bay, Lyme Regis. Sandcastles is a wonderful holiday home for larger families or friends who want to holiday together close to the beach and local entertainment.
