A short drive into Llanfyllin offers plenty of shops and eateries to choose from, alongside attractions within the Cain Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including Y Dolydd, an early 19th-century workhouse. Welshpool is another bustling market town a little further south to discover local artefacts at The Wharf Powysland Museum, take a stroll along the picture-perfect canal, or visit the unique Powis Castle and its celebrated gardens.
