Outside, the property benefits from two off-road parking spaces and a wrap-around decking area, with seating so you can take a refreshing beverage outside and enjoy the lovely views across the park, whilst watching the sunrise. The village of Swarland itself has a shop for any essentials, a pub, a café serving excellent coffee and meals, a children’s play area and tennis courts, and is also within easy reach of Northumberland County Zoo, a variety of local lakes, ideal for those who enjoy watersports, such as fishing and boating, whilst the nearby east coastline offers plenty of sandy beaches for family day trips. Just 8 miles away is Alnwick, with it's castle, which is famous as the setting for Hogwarts School in the Harry Potter films, and gardens, Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden and an ornamental walled garden, as well as a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat. Also in the area are optional boat trips to the famous Farne Islands, National Trust’s Cragside House and if you're interested in some history, then take a drive towards the restored medieval church of Brinkburn Priory, a Grade I listed building.
