Step out the front door; a short walk will take you to Weymouth's famous long and sandy beach with shallow waters giving you a great place to spend the day. The beach has a traditional feel with donkey rides and Punch and Judy shows. The town is adjacent to the beach and with a good selection of stores and has little lanes full of charming independent shops. Eating out in Weymouth is a joy always new and exciting options for dinner. Discovering other great places in South Dorset is an easy ride away and you may wish to visit Charmouth to fossil hunt or Abbotsbury to see the famous swans in the Swannery. A short drive are famous Durdle Door and Lulworth cove which would make a great day out with all family.
