A beautifully refurbished, pretty and romantic Victorian terraced cottage, Docking

Norfolk. Sleeps up to 4

A beautifully refurbished, pretty and romantic Victorian terraced cottage set in the heart of the increasingly popular village of Docking. Full of charm, character and luxurious touches this delightful cottage is a go-to destination for lovers of comfort, cosiness and convenience or just simply lovers!

Pond Cottage is a lovely, light-filled cottage that has been sympathetically extended offering guests a choice of two sitting rooms on the ground floor - one at either end - to suit all seasons. The modern fitted country-style kitchen sits perfectly placed between the two. On opening the front door you are welcomed into the first sitting room, more traditional in style, with sash window, oak beamed ceiling and natural stone floor, with a rug and wood burning stove adding warmth, that perhaps lends itself more to the cooler months of the year. The stone floor continues through to the bespoke kitchen, open to the sitting room and bridged by a breakfast bar, creating a sociable and relaxing ambience between the two. The alternative sitting room at the back of the cottage is more contemporary and summery in feel with bi-fold doors opening to the landscaped, paved courtyard garden with its well-established olive tree taking pride of place. A very smart bathroom, tucked to the side of the connecting rear hallway, completes the downstairs. On the first floor, reached by traditionally steep and narrow Norfolk winder stairs, are the two fabulously lush bedrooms inviting you to enjoy a good night's rest.

Pond Cottage is a superb choice for a short or longer break at any time during the year. The village of Docking offers good amenities - convenience store, pub and fish and chip shop - if you prefer to stay local, but is also perfectly positioned for getting out and about exploring coastal and rural North Norfolk. The coast at Brancaster is within a four mile reach and Burnham Market with its boutiques, art galleries and wide variety of eating options, is a mere fifteen minute drive away.
