This is Enid Blyton country! There is lots going on from local walks to Seacombe, Winspit and Chapman's Pool to great pubs, in particular the Square and Compass a 20 minute walk for the best pasties and stunning views. Swanage and Studland are nearby too if you want a sandy beach experience. Putlake Adventure Farm is just 5 mins away. Within 30 mins, you will find Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World and Dorset Water Park.


The main living space downstairs is made up of a good-sized open planned sitting room, kitchen and dining area with French windows looking out to the garden and coast. There is a double-sided fireplace between the dining and sitting areas. Upstairs, off the spacious landing, there are four generous-sized double rooms, two of which are ensuite. There are two further bathrooms as well: one upstairs and one downstairs. Through the French doors, there is a 10-metre terrace adjoining the house. This looks out onto the lawn which has a 10-metre patio at the bottom of the garden and a further dining area which is more secluded and sheltered. This area seats 8 comfortably and has a fire pit and barbecue.

Guest access

There is parking for four cars, so plenty of space. There is also a bus stop 10 yards away which will take you to Swanage or Corfe Castle, Wareham and beyond. The Swanage Steam Train is only a 15-minute walk away if you want a different experience to get about!

Located in Swanage, this vacation home is in a rural area and by the sea. Anvil Point Lighthouse and Scaplen’s Court Museum are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Durdle Door and Dorset and East Devon Coast. Traveling with kids? Consider The Blue Pool and Tea House and Sandbanks Beach. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
