Rustle up culinary delights in the well-equipped kitchen/diner, with five-ring rangemaster, microwave and dishwasher, as well as a handy washing machine housed in the utility cupboard, so there is no need to bring your whole wardrobe away with you! Gather around the dining table for six, as you savour a tasty meal and toast to a wonderful getaway. If the weather is nice why not dine alfresco out on the private patio and fire up the barbecue? Completing the ground-floor is a shower room, where you can enjoy a refreshing rinse after a day of exploring. Climb the stairs to the first-floor, where you will find a bathroom, perfect for indulging in a blissful bubble bath before catching your rest in one of three well-presented bedrooms, two doubles and a twin. Awake from a leisurely slumber and sip a steaming cup of coffee out in the front garden, as you watch the children play nearby in the play area. Take a leisurely wander into Bonsall, where you will find the welcoming Kings Head, a pub serving scrumptious home-cooked meals and local ales, ideal for those fuss-free evenings where you don’t feel like cooking. Head over to Matlock Bath, where you can catch an alpine-style cable car at The Heights of Abraham, which offers cavern tours and a fossil museum, treat the little ones to an aquarium trip with arcades, delve into history at the Peak District Mining Museum or enjoy a memorable fun-filled family day at Gulliver’s Kingdom. Continue down to Wirksworth where you can treat the family to a film at the quirky independent cinema, learn more about the village at the heritage centre or explore the Puzzle Gardens.
