Brunston Castle is a superb detached lodge in Dailly, South Ayrshire. Set over a single storey and sleeping up to six guests, Brunston Castle is well-situated for exploring this scenic part of Scotland, within easy reach of Galloway Forest Park and the Ayrshire coast. As you make your way through the lodge park and up to the property, there is a well-kept front lawn and a private driveway for one car. Stepping into the property, there is space to hang coats before exploring the open-plan living space. There is a kitchen area with everything you need to enjoy a self-catering holiday, so rustle up an evening meal and gather round the spacious wooden dining table to enjoy. Alternatively, pick a spot on the sofa after a long day and rest as you watch your favourite shows or head out onto the enclosed decking where you can enjoy a bottle of wine as you watch the sun go down. When the evening draws to a close, head to your chosen bedroom; there are two twin rooms, each with a sweet splash of yellow throughout and great storage space for those who want to make themselves feel at home. There is also a double room, which is a lovely private space after a long day, with it's own en-suite WC. To finish the property, there is a bathroom with a lush spa bath, where you can enjoy a relaxing soak or take a shower to freshen up before another exciting day in Scotland. Brunston Castle is just a short walk away from the shop, pub and café that Dailly village has to offer, whilst the ruins of the Dalquharran Castle stand on a hill overlooking the village. Drive towards the west coast, where you can find a lovely shoreside golf course and a sandy beach at Girvan, as well as the breath-taking 15th century Culzean Castle, which is surrounded by a magnificent deer park. Alternatively, drive a short distance in the opposite direction to explore the scenic Galloway Forest Park, where you can find lots of fishing spots and walking and cycling trails amongst live deer, or enjoy a picnic at the stunning Stinchar Bridge waterfall. Also in driving distance is the town of Ayr, which is home to the historical Wallace Tower and Miller's Folly, a popular racecourse with live events, and a sandy beach, which is surrounded by shops, bars, eateries and an entertainment centre. For a memorable trip to this gorgeous part of Scotland, choose Brunston Castle. EPC Rating: Band F
