This wonderous large farmhouse, Fields Farm is surrounded by its own arable land and has magnificent views over the beautiful Staffordshire countryside. It provides luxury, spacious accommodation for 10/12 guests and is the perfect choice for a family holiday, discover a range of stunning rooms to relax in after an enjoyable day. On the ground floor you may wind down in the lounge with is plush seating while the wood burning stove warms you and watch the large screen tv, enjoy a board game in the sitting room where you will find another tv or simply relax in the snug with a good book. The incredibly large kitchen / diner is a wonderful social space where everyone can gather for drink around the ‘island’ and prepare delicious home cooked meals, the excellent array of appliances includes and AGA range, electric oven, American fridge/freezer and dishwasher while the compact utility room contains a washing machine and tumble dryer. Come together in the formal dining room with large bi-folding doors leading outside for alfresco dining on the patio before ending your day in the bubbling hot tub. The ground floor also hosts a cloakroom, toilet and wash basin. On the first floor there are three spacious bedrooms, a family room including a king size bed and single bed, with private shower room plus a Super king size bedroom and a triple room with shared bathroom boasting a corner bath and a walk-in shower, all rooms are decorated to a high standard. On the second floor you will find even more luxury with a large sitting room with huge sofa and large screen tv, a king size bedroom and a double bedroom with a shared shower room, these rooms are also beautifully decorated with many thoughtful touches to make your stay really special. Fields Farm is a short drive from the town of Cheadle with its Victorian architecture and beautiful Catholic Church known as ‘Pugin’s Gem’, browse amongst the varied independent shops and choose to eat the variety of pubs and restaurants, learn about the history of the area as a centre of the pottery industry by visiting the Gladstone Pottery museum and The World of Wedgwood, a museum within the actual factory. On the outskirts of the city is The Trentham Estate where you will find beautiful gardens, perfect for sunny days with a picnic and the popular shopping outlets and garden centre, the Monkey Forest is sure to be a hit with all ages and Aerial Extreme (Tree Top Walk) will provide a challenge for the more adventurous, further excitement can be found at Alton Towers home to wild roller coaster and a host of amusements all set within gorgeous grounds as long as a water park too. Children will love the Peak Wildlife Park with its section of birds and small animals including cute Meerkats, close by is the picturesque Churnet Valley with many walks and home to the Steam Railway where rides are offered daily, also in the valley is the Cauldon Canal and the opportunity to book a narrow boat for a day trip or simply visit Hettys tearooms for exceptional cake. There is also an opportunity for fishing fanatics to fish locally. Discover the natural wonder of the Peak District with its scenic landscapes and interesting walks. Visit the Spa town of Buxton with its famous Pavilion and Gardens, the stately houses of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, and Shugborough are within easy reach as are Biddulph Grange Gardens and the Dorothy Clive Gardens. For the more energetic you will find ice-skating, canoeing, go carting, trampoline park, a climbing wall, cycle trails, ten pin bowling plus a leisure centre and cinemas to relax in afterwards.
