Located at the end of a private track on a working cattle and sheep farm, this lovingly restored distillery cottage has a botanical theme throughout and is a great place for family or friends who are looking to escape to nature and unwind. The farm is surrounded by fantastic forestry walks and mining heritage. There are local amenities on your doorstep, but the pièce de résistance is the onsite gin distillery next door to the cottage where you are welcome to visit. In the springtime visit the lambs on the farm and help feed them, or if you want a day of retail therapy, head into Glasgow or Edinburgh both are just a short drive away with fabulous shops, culture, and nightlife. The cottage is all on one level and offers great social space in the open plan lounge/kitchen and in the garden with the BBQ hut and hot tub. As you enter the property into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner you will find the spacious lounge area with comfortable seats, Smart TV, cosy wood burner and access out to the enclosed garden. The kitchen area has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a gin dispenser which has a welcome gin for you and your party to try. There is a dining area which is a nice area to enjoy breakfast or an evening meal and plan the rest of your stay. Down the hallway, you will find the contemporary shower room with shower and WC. There are three bedrooms further down the hallway a king size, a double and a bunk bedroom which is suitable for adults. There is an enclosed garden with patio and a lovely hot tub for you to kick back and relax with your favourite tipple. You can enjoy BBQ's all year round and in any weather in the fabulous BBQ hut. Private parking for three cars.
