Ideal for a relaxing or active holiday, this perfect retreat is in the heart of a pretty village, halfway between the market town of Newcastle Emlyn, with its variety of antique and independent shops, pubs and cafes, and the lovely Llandysul, steeped in history and Welsh culture. Visit the local shop and pub, the National Wool Museum or Newcastle Emlyn s castle. Explore the Teifi River, Ffynone Waterfalls, the history of coracle fishing and wildlife watching or sea fishing boat trips from New Quay harbour. The coastline is surprisingly close, with the seaside resort of Aberporth, a great starting point to visit pretty towns and villages along the Cardigan Bay such as New Quay and picture perfect Aberaeron. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). This stylish terraced cottage is full of period charm throughout, designed for comfort with the thoughtful little extras. Walk into the lounge with comfy sofas, Smart TV/DVD and a coal effect electric fire for cosy nights in after a full day out. Continue through to the kitchen/diner, a lovely space to rustle up a meal with your local purchases made on your travels. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Open the door and let the outside in as you relax at the table and enjoy a meal and the views into the garden. There are two double bedrooms to choose from, both designed for a good night s sleep and lovely views to wake up to. (Regret no children under 4 years old, due to open staircase leading to the first floor). The stylish shower room with a shower and WC is on the first floor. Enjoy alfresco dining on your very own patio area, explore the pretty lawned communal grounds which includes three separate gardens and seating areas, established borders, a raised deck overlooking the stream with a table and chairs, perfect to enjoy a picnic and listen to the babbling Nant Bargod. There is private off road parking for one car only opposite the cottage. (Maybe subject to changes in access to shared areas due to social distancing measures).
