Welcome to this traditional south facing cottage, enjoying splendid views across open countryside towards the distant Ochil hills. Located in an idyllic position on a wonderful 120 acre private estate, there are beautiful grounds and woodland to explore. The picture postcard town of Crieff is close at hand, boasting a great range of eateries, friendly inns and independent shops. The city of Perth is also within easy reach with its excellent leisure and shopping facilities. Explore the magnificent Brankln and Drummond Castle Gardens. Take a tour of Glenturret, the oldest distillery in Scotland, enjoy a day out at Perth races or visit the splendid Scone Palace. Golfers are spoilt for choice with numerous courses close by, including the legendary Gleneagles or enjoy seasonal boating and fishing on the River Tay. Health spas and other activities are available at both Gleneagles and the nearby Crieff Hydro. Step inside this charming period cottage and leave your outdoor clothing in the hall before entering the light and bright dining room, with its characterful range, where you can enjoy romantic meals. Next is the kitchen, the ideal place to cook up a storm with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Completing the ground floor is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Heading up the stairs you are met with the delightful lounge. Relax on the comfortable sofa after a day out exploring this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, enjoying a great movie on the TV or a cosy night in front of the roaring wood burner. Finally, completing this charming accommodation is the pretty king size bedroom with ample storage space and beautiful views. Venturing outside there is a seating area and charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining or lazy evenings stargazing, located directly next to the cottage. There is also a spacious, enclosed garden nearby. Guests are welcome to explore the estate's grounds and woodland through the established tracks, discovering the Ice House or ancient Witches Bridge. Help feed the chickens and collect eggs or even meet the resident tortoise, Tortoo! Discover abundant birds and other wildlife nearby including roe deer, hares and the occasional red squirrel.
