Set on a small former perfect for those looking to explore the countryside, you will love this comfortable cottage for two. There is a super local cafe where you can enjoy a tasty breakfast or meal at a special rate and there are great local pubs on your doorstep. The large open Woodland assured picnic area is right next door for some al fresco dining and you have a choice of country walking and cycling trails in and around this beautiful setting as well as a stunning golf course close by. Head to Causey Arch, the world s oldest single arch bridge for a delightful stroll and take a trip on the oldest existing steam railway in the world at the local Tanfield railway. The amazing Beamish Living Museum of the North is only 2.2 miles away and is a fabulous day out. You can drive to Newcastle and Durham for culture and history, riverboat trips, eating and shopping. Spend a day in Tynemouth with its glorious sandy beach, restaurants, Sunday market and friendly pubs. Access is via the front door into a small lobby area with the light and airy, open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area off to the left. You will find an attractive sofa and armchair where you can spread out and relax to watch your favourite TV show. There is a dining table and seating for two and a compact kitchen area with an electric 2 ring hob, an under counter fridge and microwave. The spacious bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with open storage for your things and there is a lovely contemporary shower room with a walk in shower. There are two other one bedroom cottages here which you can book as a larger party. Outside, there is a shared paved area with bench style seating. Parking is for one car is private and off road.
