Close to the market town of Alnwick and its varied facilities, this cottage is ideal for a couple or small family looking for a Northumberland getaway. Enjoy the friendly pubs, restaurants, shops and the weekly market in town, as well as the famous local attractions the area boasts. Alnwick Castle (of Harry Potter fame) and The Alnwick Gardens are both on the doorstep, while the beach at Alnmouth is just a 10 minute drive from the property. There s also a superb golf course for you to enjoy. Warkworth Castle, village and beach are also nearby. This cosy home from home offers a fantastic bolthole for exploring the area. Enter the house into the lounge, which has invitingly comfortable seating centred around a feature fireplace with electric stove. There s also a smart TV, perfect for evenings in, as well as a Bluetooth Hi fi, a bookcase full of books and games for you to enjoy during your stay. Head through to the kitchen/diner, which has a table with seating for three. The fully equipped, modern kitchen includes a ceramic hob and electric oven, microwave and fridge/freezer, as well as toaster, kettle and cafetiere. There s also a washing machine, clothes airer, iron and ironing board. Upstairs you ll find the master bedroom with king size bed and breath taking views of Alnwick Castle and the surrounding countryside. The second bedroom has a single bed, while the bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC. From the kitchen, head down a couple of steps onto the patio area and enjoy your morning coffee at the bistro table and chairs. Further steps lead down into the landscaped garden, while at the front of the property there is off road parking on the driveway for one car.
