The area itself has many brilliant walks to discover (a 2 mile walk to the pub at Shorwell is very rewarding), is popular with cyclists too and being centrally located, it s a great base to explore all the delights on offer on the Isle of Wight. A community pop up pub can be found just a short walk away (under 1 mile). The island boasts many beaches including the sandy town beaches at Shanklin as well as a diverse selection of attractions to visit. Why not spend the day out fossil hunting at Dinosaur Isle, take in the history of Osborne House or Carisbrooke Castle, or take tea at the quintessentially English village of nearby Godshill? Head up to the first floor where the living accommodation can be found. The gorgeous open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, enhanced by vaulted ceilings, boasts breathtaking views over Chillerton Down. The kitchen comes complete with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. A stylish dining table is a great place for the family to gather around with the lounge an ideal place to chill in front of the wall mounted TV with a soundbar after a full on day exploring the area. A separate utility room with a washer/dryer can also be found on this level.
