The nearby pretty market town of Bakewell lies in the very heart of the Peak District National Park and offers a fantastic place for meandering through the various shops, cafes and restaurants. For keen walkers and cyclists, you ll enjoy lovely country walks from your doorstep and plenty of off road cycling tracks. Matlock has a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, a weekly market and parks. In Autumn The Matlock Bath illuminations and firework display are a spectacular event. From horse riding at Darley Dale and Hazelwood to rock climbing in Cressbrook, there is no shortage of things to do in the Derbyshire Dales. Set within the owners grounds, you enter this stylish ground floor property via the patio area, where you arrive in the hallway which leads from one end of the property to the other. The well equipped kitchen is to your left which has an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine. Off the kitchen is the shower room and WC and also a dedicated steam room which is the perfect place to relax your muscles and revitalize your senses before or after a busy day out exploring the rolling hills of the Peak District. The lounge area has a comfortable sofa and a Smart TV so you can watch and stream your favourite show. The bedroom is cosy and has a double bed and some hooks for hanging your clothes. There is a patio area to the front of the property which has a table and chairs so you can enjoy some al fresco dining whilst listening to the local wildlife and planning your next adventure. There is off road parking for one car.
