This property is positioned above a local café overlooking Swanage Bay a lovely sandy beach suitable for paddling, swimming and boating. Enjoy this traditional seaside resort with its Punch and Judy shows, amusements and Victorian pier. A dive centre, variety of small interesting shops, restaurants and public houses are all a short walk away. Swanage is also renowned for its steam railway which links this seaside town to the picturesque and historic village of Corfe Castle. For walkers and cyclists, adjacent to the cottage is a coastal path where guests can walk along the promenade and over Ballard Down into Studland with its sand dunes and miles of sandy beach. The walk westwards leads to Durleston and extends onwards along a fabulous stretch of Purbeck coastline passing close to several traditional villages. Worth Matravers provides a pleasant place to stop with a traditional public house and its local Purbeck ciders. A gated flight of steps leads up to the property with the light and airy accommodation being on two floors. Entering the first floor there is a kitchen with an electric hob and cooker, microwave and refrigerator with small freezer compartment, as well as a pleasant dining area. The large living area extends across the full width of the property boasting large windows which can be opened back to benefit from the sights and sounds of the sea just outside. This room is furnished with a comfortable sofa, chairs, TV/DVD. On this floor there is also a pleasant bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. Stairs lead up to three attractive bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes one of which has the added advantage of open sea views. The third bedroom is a pleasant bunk bedroom which also enjoys sea views. There is off road parking for one car within a few yards of the property.
