Situated in a quiet lane in the picturesque village of Corfe Castle, this property is just a three minute walk from the local bakery, post office, tearoom and pubs. Standing high on a hill, the castle is a historic focal point of the village and can be seen from the cottage. The wonderful sandy beach of Studland is an easy drive from the property, great for boating, paddling and swimming, while the more lively resort of Swanage is also within easy reach. Other nearby attractions include Lulworth Castle, Kingston Lacey and Hardy s Cottage. Inside, this stone cottage has been lovingly updated to provide light and airy accommodation with fresh, neutral decor throughout. The spacious kitchen/diner is a fantastic room with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment. washing machine and a dining table overlooking the garden through French doors. At the end of a long day exploring the local area, relax and unwind in the large lounge, which is furnished with comfortable sofas, a TV/DVD and an open fire for cosy evenings in. Upstairs are two pretty bedrooms, one spacious king size and one bunk bedroom with French doors opening onto a delightful balcony for enjoying a morning cup of coffee with views of the castle. The bedrooms share a stylish modern bathroom with shower and WC. Outside, a sunny patio area with garden furniture opens onto a fantastic lawn garden. With apple trees and plenty of space for lawn games and activities, this is the perfect place to spend sunny afternoons. There is parking outside the cottage from October to May and allocated private parking is available for two cars close by.
