Dine in the open-plan living and dining room before settling down for the evening on the sofa and armchairs to watch TV. Enjoy making use of the lovely garden with several areas to it, you can find your favourite spot, whether it's sat at the picnic bench in the slate gravelled area to the side for alfresco lunches, the raised patio leading from the kitchen with plenty of outdoor dining furniture to sit with an evening drink, or the large lawn space which is perfect for kids to run around on. The ground-floor layout lends itself well to those with limited mobility, with three delightful bedrooms to choose from; the master bedroom has a double bed and benefits from an en-suite bathroom with a ¾ bath with a shower over, there is a second double bedroom, and finally a twin bedroom - all rooms have their own TVs, whilst the latter two are served by the family shower room. The town of Annan is nearby and is the nearest spot for pubs, shops and restaurants, with a rich history and the River Annan running through, it is a charming place to visit. Discover the heritage of Annan in Annan Museum, while rainy days can take you to Lonsdale Cinema to catch a film. The Annandale Distillery lies just outside the centre and produces a fine single malt whiskey and you can see how it's made by going on a tour around the distillery and receiving a few tasters along the way too. Head to Westlands Country Park to enjoy a spot of fishing for any keen anglers out there, with two ponds stocked with local rainbow, blue and tiger trout and a shooting range on site too with taster lessons available for beginners. Over towards Dumfries is Caerlaverock Castle, one of Scotland's great medieval fortresses, surrounded by a moat and boasting a twin towered gatehouse, it is home to a lovely tearooms.
