Enter into the property after an invigorating ramble and be welcomed into a homely sitting room; find a large and inviting corner sofa to sink into with a cup of tea as you turn on the gas fire, adding a welcoming aura to the property. When you're not dining out in one of the lovely restaurants in Brecon, enjoy rustling up a home-cooked meal within the kitchen/diner; this spacious room holds all you need by way of appliances, including a gas cooker and hob, as well as a washing machine for all your laundry needs, helpful for longer stays. The town of Brecon has a lot to offer in the form of history, from its 11th century modest cathedral with beautiful stained glass, to the Regimental Museum of The Royal Welsh, showcasing military history and exhibits, and the Brecon Canal Basin where you can embark on a delightful stroll along the waters. Just five miles away is the Cantref Adventure Farm where a host of fun can be had, watch the children play on the indoor and outdoor play zones, watch animal shows, bottle feed some lambs, and place your bets on a pig race, whilst the centre is also home to a riding school, embark on a pony trek across the Brecon Beacons offering a unique way to see the landscape. Further east, around seven miles from Brecon, you can accept the Sky Trek Challenge at Llangorse Multi Activity Centre including zip-lining, climbing and abseiling, perfect for thrill seekers, while those who prefer to be on solid ground can walk around the beautiful Llangors Lake. Keen walkers will be most interested in exploring the amazing Pen y Fan, a picturesque peak with a Bronze Age burial chamber at the summit, head up here to experience staggering views across the Beacons, with several other peaks to incorporate into your walks such as Cribyn with its dramatic sandstone escarpment, Fan y Big which resembles the peak of a bird's bill, and Waun Rydd.
