It is adjacent to the friendly owners’ home who run a working beef farm and are on hand to offer advice on the endless list of attractions and things to do in the area. Inside is a unique ’pub style’ open plan living area complete with full size pool table, darts, board games, a 55" flatscreen TV and even a built in bar! Outside there is plentiful seating for guests to relax and enjoy the tranquillity and far reaching views.

Just 15 minutes away is the vibrant town of Thurles, set between the valley of the River Suir and bounded by the Silvermines to the north west and Slieveardagh hills to the south east. It is also within 30 minutes of historic Cashel, home to the iconic Rock and Cashel, one of Ireland’s most spectacular tourist attractions. Cashel’s rich history is reflected in its built heritage, from prehistoric raths to medieval monasteries and fortified town houses, a Georgian cathedral and a 21st century library (which holds regular exhibitions, workshops and concerts). The Georgian quarter also boasts the Bolton Library where you can find the smallest book in Ireland! Located at the foot of the historic Rock of Cashel, the Brú Ború festival takes place five nights a week throughout the summer with shows of traditional Irish music, song and dance. Local activities are numerous and include golfing and horse racing at Thurles, trout fishing in the River Clodagh just a few minutes walk away, equestrian activities and mountain hiking, to name but a few. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.. Approximate distance to Shannon arport is 90 km.
