Located on the Ring of Kerry driving route on the main Killarney to Killorglin road, Purple Mountain enjoys a great location just 3 miles from the bustling town of Killarney, which offers a great selection of restaurants, cafés, galleries and craft shops. The house has a bright and airy living space, and the garden and patio enjoy views to the mountains.
The Killarney area offers a wonderful choice of activities such as fishing, golf and horse riding along with a host of historical and archaeological sites. Enjoy some of the many walks and trails which meander through Killarney National Park, admiring waterfalls, lakes, castles, mountains and rivers. Take a day trip to the stunning Dingle Peninsula with its incredible scenery and beaches or a boat trip to the hauntingly beautiful Skellig Islands, both of which feature in the Star Wars movies. Beach 18 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.. Approximate distance to Kerry airport is 17 km.
