The neighbouring town of Hastings is steeped in history, which can be discovered with a visit to the fantastic museum, the remains of Hastings Castle and the fascinating True Crime Museum; the town is also home to a gorgeous beach which backs onto the Bluereef Aquarium. Alternatively, you can venture to the resort of Eastbourne, where the delights of Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway, the contemporary art gallery of Towner and Eastbourne Beach with its pier are waiting to be explored. Eastbourne is also home to a number of theatres which entertain people with many shows and pantomimes.
