It is located on the quiet High Street of this picture postcard fishing village and yet to the rear has a quiet, large private garden suntrap with beautiful south facing views over the Firth of Forth. All linen and towels are included as is the electricity and gas central heating/hot water supplied by a combi boiler. The lounge has a cosy living flame fire and all windows are double glazed, so it is a perfect retreat in both summer and winter. There is free Unlimited Wireless Broadband. Parking is available at the side of the house. There is ample covered and secure storage in the garden for golf clubs, bicycles, etc.

Other things to note

The garden is to the rear of the property and faces south over the Firth of Forth, with views to the village harbour, North Berwick and the Bass Rock. It is shielded from easterly, northerly and to some degree westerly winds. The whitewashed walls of the house and outhouses to the east boundary reflect the sun and help create a beautiful sun-trap, which has been enjoyed all year round. Pittenweem has some of the lowest rainfall in the United Kingdom.

The garden is well equipped with furniture. There is a long garden bench against the rear wall of the house, a table and chairs (warmer seasons only) and a cushioned swing/hammock seat (warmer seasons again, cushions stored in outhouse).

The large lawn area is bounded by alpine and rose beds and also provides facilities for clothes drying. There are two outhouses containing garden furniture and some children's push-along toys (used at tenant's risk). There is also a covered passage area leading to the side doors to the parking area - this is useful for storing bikes etc and for unloading/loading the car.

Located in Anstruther, this vacation home is by the sea. Craigtoun Country Park and Billow Ness Beach reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include La Petite Epicerie and Scottish Fisheries Museum. Cambo Estate Gardens and British Golf Museum are also worth visiting. Discover the area's water adventures with fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with hiking, cycling, and horse riding.
