Helena Cottage is a lovely 2-bedroom detached cottage. Located at the Earlsferry end of picturesque Elie, it is in a quiet location just off Links Rd next to the golf course. It is just a two minute walk from the award winning blue flag sandy beach and the well regarded 19th Hole Bar and Restaurant. It is an ideal holiday base for couples and families alike to enjoy Elie & all that Fife has to offer. 7 nights for price of 6 year-round. Short term licence no. FI00035F. Max occupancy 5 (incl sofa bed) excl under 2's.

The cottage is fully double-glazed (EPC C), has free wifi, and comprises open plan lounge/dining/kitchen with extendable dining room table & chairs and solid oak hardwood flooring. The contemporary fitted kitchen includes a new gas hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, new fridge with freezer compartment, and all the new crockery/glasses and kitchenware you could need for your stay. The lounge is also very comfortable, with a 4-seater corner sofa bed (can sleep 1), wall mounted freeview TV, and Ipod docking station.

Off the hallway is the double bedroom, through which you access the adjoining twin bedroom - both are well furnished, with alarm/clock radio and hairdryer in main double bedroom, and wall-mounted TV with built-in DVD player, Netflix and amazon Prime in the twin bedroom. Also off the hall is the refurbished bathroom, with excellent shower.

Patio doors open out to the small sheltered courtyard garden, with table and chairs for relaxing in the sun - a wonderful place to relax and enjoy Elie's typically sunny weather.

Laundry facilities are provided, with washing machine in the utility store, iron/board/hi-dri available and outdoor washing line. The property also has a travel cot and high-chair available.

The cottage is all on the ground level and located down a short gravel footpath, so offers a nice quiet stay, suitable for all ages. Pets welcome by agreement, and subject to an additional fee of £25. If you would like to bring your dog, please advise this in inquiry, so that can amend quote accordingly.

Elie has a lot to offer - golf, tennis, putting, library, bowling, bike hire, watersports centre, beach activities, coastal walks including the famous "chain walk" and of course there are a number of wonderful local restaurants, cafes and pubs. As well as nearby St Andrews which is only a 20 minute drive away. Elie is a perfect location for exploring the East Neuk of Fife.

The cottage and garden area are all yours during the stay. Access to keys is through a coded keybox - for security of other guests, the code will be provided one week before your stay.

Access is down a 40-yard gravel path - while the path and house are all on one level and would be suitable to those with limited mobility, it is not really suited to wheelchair access.

Changeover day is Saturday, so weekly bookings start/end on Saturday unless by alternative arrangement. Part-week bookings are available off peak, and usually either start or end on a Saturday.

The property has a travel cot & mattress and high chair available for you to set up and use (in outhouse) - pls bring own cot linen if wish to use this.

Linen is available for the corner sofa bed should your group need it.

Located in Leven, this cottage is next to a golf course and near the beach. Swilken Bridge and Hill of Tarvit are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Anstruther Golf Club and Lochs and Glens North Cycle Route. Traveling with kids? Consider La Petite Epicerie, or check out an event or a game at Wellsgreen Golf Range. Discover the area's water adventures with jet skiing and kayaking nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with cycling and hiking.
