The cottage is situated within the Southern part of The Royal Forest of Dean and was constructed circa 1850 being originally built as a forester's cottage that was extended in the early 1980's. It sits on a gentle slope and is central to local amenities and very good local bus route to the nearby market towns of Coleford and Lydney.
The cottage is also situated a couple of hundred yards from the famous forest walk (The Gloucestershire way) with its network of other walks and cycle routes. The location is ideal if you want to enjoy the forest and local ammenities or just crash out and enjoy the peace of rural life.
