This big and beautiful farmhouse is located ¾ mile from Farway, beside the owner's cottage on a 335 acre farm in the hamlet of Woodbridge. With ancient origins, it is a characterful and welcoming house for friends and families of all ages. The sitting room is a cosy room with an electric fire. In true country style, the kitchen is huge and at the hub of the house with a Rayburn, a lovely room to gather and socialise in. This is a great house for the children, with toys in the playroom and a tiny games room. Upstairs, the five bedrooms ramble over three levels, as high as the attic. Outside you are welcome to help feed the calves and enjoy the miles of unspoiled countryside with a river for paddling and tiddler fishing, ponds, great views and walks and quiet roads. In the pretty garden, shared with the owners, is a picnic table, barbecue, giant draughts, shallow stream, play castle, sandpit and Wendy house. To complete the idyllic family scene is a fun games barn. There is plenty on this lovely farm to keep you occupied, but if you choose to venture further afield there are the Blackdown Hills to explore, the Seaton Tramway for rides through a nature reserve and the fossil hunting beaches of the Jurassic Coast. Hornshayne Farmhouse is a magical location for enjoying a traditional farm holiday and the lovely surroundings.
