If you need to warm up after a long day of walking in the hills, a walk-in shower will soak the Hebridean chill away. When adventures call, indulge in the scenery as you venture into the Uig Hills for a hike amongst the rugged scenery. The wildlife here is simply amazing, with so much to see across the island, including eagles and red deer. A multitude of sandy beaches are at your disposal, including Riof or Reef beach, where you can take in the seaside air and white sand through a walk, watersports or even try out wild swimming. Ardroil offers bars, restaurants and a local shop however, where you will be able to enjoy a hot meal or stock up on essentials before heading out to the more remote areas of the island, and if you are searching for something more local, fresh seafood is available from the nearby harbour at Miavaig. Further afield is Great Bernera where you can visit the local iron age museum to sample a taste of the rich history of the island.
