Our two spacious turf-roofed dwellings offer warm, welcoming and stylish luxury accommodation for 2-4 guests. Set high on one of the highest hillsides on the rugged and romantic Oa peninsula on Islay the distinctive buildings sit in harmony with the landscape and the exquisite curves of the dry stone exterior walls are a testament to the traditional skills of local craftsmen.
Once inside, wide, ceiling high galleried windows fill the interestingly shaped living space with light and afford long and everchanging views over moorland and coast. Looking out over the RSPB Oa reserve, the dwellings offer extraordinary bird and wildlife viewing in all weathers. Our resident chough family delight guests with regular flap pasts and the pair of golden eagles bring their young to hunt here.
We welcome well-behaved dogs to our newly opened An Cnocan Dubh Lodge. Please do let us know if you would like to bring your dog and we will send you our dog policy.
