Set deep in the heart of the forest, this cottage has been completely modernised. It is spacious and comfortable with central heating and log-burning stoves.It welcomes disabled people (one of the owners' uses a wheelchair), families, pets, and older people, in a way that respects and conserves the environment.We have been awarded Four Stars and Mobility 2 by VisitBritain, and a Gold rating by GTBS. There are two bedrooms upstairs with a shared bathroom and one bedroom downstairs with a wet-room. A well- equipped kitchen gives access to a generous (6m x 6m) living room, one wall of which consists of folding glass doors opening onto decking and a large garden. There is a wealth of wild-life to observe, and a rich variety of local produce and activities to enjoy.There are several steam railways, an aerial assault course, a bike hire centre, and a sculpture trail to explore.
