The River Deben runs alongside the town and is popular for boating, walking and wildlife. Jump in the car and head out for the day to places such as Melford Hall, Framlingham Castle, Sutton Hoo, RSPB Minsmere and Adnams Brewery. Snape Maltings is a short drive away and is home to the famous Aldeburgh Music Festival and has a curated range of fantastic shops and boutiques which are well worth a browse.
