This characterful shepherd’s hut is nestled within a collection of cottages in the village of Nympsfield near Nailsworth. Well-suited for a couple’s retreat, The Hut consists of a studio-style, open-plan layout with everything in one space. Prepare meals in the small but well-equipped kitchen, housing an oven and hob, microwave and fridge, before settling down at the dining table and toasting to a long-awaited break with your better half. On those warm evenings, step outside and take a seat at the picnic bench, while there’s also a larger table for alfresco dining. As you wind down, wash away the day in the shower room before retiring to the double bed and catching up on your sleep. The WWT Wildfowl and Wetland Trust in Slimbridge is also close by with an exceptional variety of birdlife in the Severn Estuary. The Hut is a lovely base for a couple's getaway in Gloucestershire.
