This rural location allows guests to enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside, yet be just 7 miles from the nearest village with many amenities. The distillery is just 1 mile from the cottage and offers a visitor centre with café, and is a great place for whisky enthusiasts to base their Arran holiday. The first distille
Bourtreebank Cottage is the middle property in a row of three and is set up a track from the main road. It has been extensively renovated to produce a modern holiday home, yet has the traditional cottage feel of low ceilings upstairs with sloping ceilings in the bedrooms, so do mind your head. The cottage is great for winter breaks, with the open fire in the living room making it nice and cosy, or open up the patio doors to the garden in the summer to bring in fresh Arran air and dine al fresco. Blackwaterfoot is just 7 miles away where you find a beach, hotel with leisure facilities and serving food and drink to the public, a bakers, post office, convenience store, a butcher and golf course.
