Please note: There is a stream in the garden, 30 feet away. . A luxurious family home, Gludy House is an incredible setting for a large group of friends or family looking to get away. Offering all the ingredients for a restorative holiday, this detached house nestles within the Brecon Beacons National Park and is only 2 miles from the town of Brecon along a private lane. With four en-suite bedrooms, and two that share a bathroom on the attic floor, Gludy House is the height of luxury amidst panoramic views of the Usk Valley and the Brecon Beacons beyond. From a large living room, in which to watch movies, to a reading study, families have the space to gather together or take some time apart.
Upon entering the house, there is a large entrance porch with plenty of room for boots and coats. To the right is a study with an array of books, while to the left is a cosy living room with large sofas and an impressive fire place housing a large wood burner and a television with a full Sky package, including entertainment, kids TV and sports. There is also a wireless Bose music system.

The spacious kitchen is down a few steps and has a large 5-ring gas ’Rangemaster’ cooker, an American style fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave and a filter coffee machine. The kitchen, which has underfloor heating, has a sunny oak-framed breakfast nook with seating for four, with glorious views over the garden and Brecon Beacons. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee whilst reading the papers. The convenient utility room leading off the kitchen has a washing machine, a tumble dryer and plenty of room for muddy coats and boots. There is also a shower room with an electric shower, which is the ideal place to wash down muddy children! The formal dining room, adjoining the kitchen, has an impressive 3-metre long farmhouse dining table with seating for twelve people.
The south-facing patio features al fresco seating, a barbecue and a hot tub, alongside manicured gardens leading down to a rippling stream. For generations, this home has been a restorative place to eat, play and laugh amid beautiful Welsh scenery and plenty of fresh countryside air. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
