A day out to Stamford straight down the A1 which is home of the famous Burghley Horse Trials is also only about 40-minute drive.
Ideally situated for exploring a wide range of attractions within the market town of Newark, just 10 minutes’ drive away, it’s steeped in history and has many good places to eat and drink. Newark Showground regularly hosts a wide range of regular events such as antique fairs and country shows. Also within easy reach are Sherwood Forest and the Dukeries. There are also many good walks and cycle routes throughout the area. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
