Patio with garden furniture. Lawned garden. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced pond and stream, 10 yards away. No children under 12 years old except babes in arms. . This gorgeous stone cottage is nestled in the hamlet of Tregagle approximately 1½ miles from Penallt in Monmouthshire. Penallt has two country pubs in the village. There is a Michelin starred gourmet restaurant 1½ miles away near the River Wye and the border with England. The building is thought to date from the 17th century, and by the 19th century, it was used as a roadside inn.
You will instantly feel relaxed as you drive along the track to the property which is surrounded by trees and flowers and the sound of the running stream and the birds singing.
This first floor property has everything to offer home from home, with two double bedrooms and an open plan living/dining area with a fabulous wood burner. Set in the grounds of the owner’s home with spectacular views of the Wye Valley, a lovely seating area to the side of the property and also a lawned garden with a stream running through it.
There are plenty of places to visit such as The Forest of Dean and Monmouth town and also plenty of walks to enjoy. Shop 4½ miles, pub 1 mile and restaurant 1½ miles.
