It is surrounded by pasture and the river Alde is a short walk away with stunning views over the reed beds towards Snape Maltings. The Cartlodge provides a comfortable retreat from which to explore the beautiful surroundings and you can return to somewhere where you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet after a day out. The apartment is simply furnished but provides enough comfort for short breaks or longer if you want to experience more of this beautiful part of Suffolk.

Sailing and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling nearby.
