A short drive from the property will bring visitors to the shore of Lake Windermere and the lakeside town of Bowness, which is an ideal location to try out a variety of water sports. If you prefer, you can explore the local area and visit the many different attractions which there is no shortage of. Kendal is a great location for a bit of shopping with a variety of outlets and historic buildings. It also boasts castles, and two museums which are perfect for a family day out. While set within the owners grounds, it's self contained and privacy is assured. On entering this Grade II listed Georgian property up a few stone steps, you will arrive in the well equipped kitchen/diner with electric oven and induction hob, microwave, two fridges (with freezer compartments), dishwasher and washer/dryer. Heading on straight through is the lounge, with a cosy wood burner, Smart TV / DVD and amazing views across the valley.
