The nearby impressive country house of Chatsworth is worth a visit for a spot of culture and to explore its fascinating history. Enjoy spectacular walks through the open countryside of the National Park before returning to the local pub in Totley for a spot of lunch. Guests enter the cottage into the dining room-reception hall which has an elegant wooden floor that creates a warm and inviting ambience to the property and makes the dining room a great space for entertaining. There is a country style kitchen that s equipped with all the essentials and has exposed beams and wooden floors adding to its character. The lounge is situated off the reception hall and is a good size room complete with exposed beams. A log burner not only creates a welcoming feel to the room but also provides a central feature to the space and is great for cosy nights in. A spectacular vaulted ceiling and exposed beams leads upstairs passed a window on the landing which frames the far-reaching views across the countryside. The main bedroom is a good size double and offers enchanting views to the front and rear of the cottage. The main bathroom is also an en-suite to the bedroom and contains a bath hand basin toilet and shower. Outside there is a quaint patio and lawn for BBQs and relaxing amidst the peaceful rolling countryside.
