Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty this striking sixteenth century manor house is grade II listed and located in a peaceful and private location opposite the local church making it the perfect base from which to explore this wonderful area. The nearby towns of Honiton and Axminster offer a good selection of shops pubs and cafes where you can sample local delights including the famous Devonshire cream tea. For lovers of the outdoors the surrounding Blackdown Hills are the perfect backdrop for all manner of pursuits or why not take a trip to the stunning Jurassic Coast and enjoy a long walk or simply relax on one of the many picturesque beaches. A large covered porch leads you to an original Elizabethan door which is the main entrance into the house. From here you are met with a hallway leading firstly to the stunning great hall on your right. This room is the perfect space in which to enjoy dining with the whole family whilst being surrounded by wonderful period features.
