Set in the splendid coastal village of Southerndown, which lies between Llantwit Major and Ogmore by Sea in the Vale of Glamorgan. This little known village has the super Dunraven beach, just half a mile from the property and a lovely pub and restaurant on your walk home. The coastal path is just 400 metres from your door and offers breath taking scenery in either direction. The remains of Dunraven Castle can be viewed, and the historic walled garden. For the discerning shopper, Cowbridge is close by with a range of independent shops and Cardiff city slightly further afield. History lovers can enjoy the fascinating museum at St. Fagans which is also within easy reach. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). This reverse level wing of an 18th century residence is perfectly arranged to enjoy the coastal and rural landscape. The bedrooms all on the ground floor and are accessed from the hallway, there are two doubles, one with en suite shower room with WC, and a twin bedroom. Completing the ground floor is the bathroom with bath and WC. Heading upstairs there is a large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, this wonderful space has views of the coast and rural landscape. After a day exploring the area, relax in the lounge and enjoy the wood burner, comfortable sofas, TV, Blu ray and CD player. The dining area sits just off from the well equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Heading outside there is a private lawn which is enclosed, with furniture and also a shared lawn with more than enough room for comfort and your enjoyment. There is private off road parking for two cars.
