This pretty market town in the foothills of the Pennines on the borders of the Peak District National Park offers a range of shops, cafes and pubs. A walkers and cyclists paradise surrounded by beautiful countryside including the Transpennine Trail, Boundry Walk and Silkstone Waggonsway to name but a few. Taste the culinary delights in pubs, café and restaurants in pretty villages and towns dotted around the area, such as Holmfirth, home to 'Last of the Summer Wine'. Enjoy the history and culture with many galleries, museums and attractions on offer such as Worthey Top Forge, Turner Museum of Glass, Royal Armouries, Cannon Hall, Wentworth Castle and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
