Set in the heart of Somerset and a great place to explore the area with Bath, Wells, Cheddar Glastonbury and the Clarks Village shopping outlet all within a short drive. There are many popular attractions to suit all tastes with England's smallest city, Wells, just a short drive away with market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Enjoy cycling direct to either Glastonbury or Wells via beautiful country lanes. Other popular days out include Glastonbury Tor, the caves at Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. Beaches to the north include Weston Super Mare and Kilve as well as a variety of leisure activities such as swimming, riding, golf courses and fishing close by. The pub in the adjacent village of Godney has live music and serves food. The restored former farmhouse offers superb accommodation set over three floors and has a range of traditional features such as exposed beams, stone walls and flagstone floors. Eco friendly too with geothermal heat pump serving the underfloor heating and hot water throughout the house. Stepping into the property there is a spacious kitchen/diner with a lovely inglenook fireplace and fully equipped to cater for large groups with double oven and five ring hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The stylish dining hall is just off the kitchen and has a formal dining table and feature stone fireplace. There is a cosy sitting room with a doube sofa bed and is equipped with TV/DVD with Sky basic package as well as a CD/radio and a collection of books and games. The garden room with plenty of seating and wood burner overlooking the terrace and with superb views across the Somerset Levels. There is a separate WC on the ground floor. Heading upstairs there are five bedrooms and three bathrooms. On the first floor is the master king size suite with private sitting room and en suite shower room with shower and WC. There is a further king size room and a twin room on this floor. A bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC completes the first floor. On the second floor there are two twin rooms and a further bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Outside there is an extensive enclosed patio area, a great place for dining alfresco in the sunshine and offering superb views across the Mendip Hills with garden furniture and BBQ. There is a large lawned area which is ideal for ball games.
