A stylish and elegant converted barn with a striking interior creating the perfect backdrop for any social occasion whatever the time of year. This is the perfect base for enjoying the festivals and events that the nearby, and beautiful, historic town of Ludlow offers. The barns are in an excellent location for relaxing with friends deep in the South Shropshire countryside. Ludlow is a thriving market town, boasting nearly five hundred listed buildings, with the original medieval street layout surviving almost unchanged. Situated on a cliff above the River Teme, it's best known for its September Food and Drink Festival and has a strong reputation for providing excellent local fayre year round. Walkers will enjoy trails from the door of barns, with twelve acres of farmland surrounding the barn to enjoy, and the Clee Hill and child friendly Mortimer Forest within easy reach. The barn is cleverly divided in to two halves making it perfect for both partying and privacy. Step through the main barn door into a large open plan entertaining space with wood burner, comfortable seating, plus a large dining table and stylish kitchen, as featured in Nigella Lawson's Christmas special 2018 and Elle Decoration, with electric range oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and breakfast bar. There are four bedrooms in this part of the property, a super king size bedroom (which can be made into a twin bedroom by request at time of booking) on the ground floor, shower room with WC and utility area. Upstairs you will find a master bedroom with a super king size bed and en suite bathroom with a shower over the bath, and WC. A further super king size bedroom (which can be made into a twin bedroom by request at time of booking) and a children s bunk bedroom with additional single bed. There is a further family bathroom upstairs with rainforest style shower and WC. In the second half of the barn, step in to an open plan lounge/diner/kitchen with wood burner. There are two bedrooms in this part of the barn, a super king size downstairs bedroom with neighbouring bathroom with shower and WC, upstairs is an en suite super king size bedroom with rainforest style shower and WC, both of these bedrooms can be made into a twin bedroom on request at time of booking for ultimate flexibility. Outside there is a large undercover outdoor kitchen area with fire pit and BBQ and perfect for soaking up the view on a balmy summer's evening. There is an additional entertainment barn with traditional bar finish, wood burner and darts board as used by Nigella. The barn is set within 12 beautiful acres of farmland which guests are invited to enjoy.
