House in Dorset, Poole

Dorset. Sleeps up to 8

This property enjoys a sought after location in the village of Canford Cliffs close to the Sandbanks peninsula. The village beach with its golden sands, is a short walk away, allowing guests to enjoy a true seaside holiday. A little way down the beach is the Sandbanks peninsula itself, from where the chain ferry runs across to the picturesque Studland Bay, a wilder beach which is maintained by the National Trust. The two seaside towns of Poole and Bournemouth, are each situated within five miles of the property, both of which provide plenty for visitors to see and do, including a boat trip across to Brownsea Island, parks, shops, restaurants, miles of beaches, and an oceanarium. On arrival at this handsome property, guests will immediately be able to see how much love and attention has been put into creating a truly five star experience. The lounge is a wonderfully relaxing space, with comfortable sofas, a wood burner, TV/DVD, and beautiful lead framed patio door which leads to the sunny conservatory. There will be no disagreements about what to watch on TV here, as just off from the lounge, there is a cosy snug room with its own Smart TV. The dining room provides the perfect space for formal meals and sociable dining, with its large dining table, flame effect electric fire, and stained glass window, whilst the kitchen has a breakfast bar which is a great place for more informal meals and snacks. As you would expect from a five star property, the kitchen is well equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms. The first of these is a very spacious king size room with relaxing arm chairs, and an en suite shower room with a large walk in shower and WC. The second bedroom is another generously sized room with a super king size bed which can be made up as a twin room on request. The remaining two bedrooms are a pleasant twin and a restful single room which has a pull out bed which may be used to accommodate an eighth guest on request. The main bathroom on the first floor is a rare example of an original Art Deco bathroom with a bath, and WC, whilst there are also separate WCs on both the first and ground floors. The outside area to the property is just as impressive as the house itself, with one acre of grounds which include lawns, a number of terraced seating areas, woodlands, and, of course, the heated outdoor pool, which is open from the beginning of June to the end of August and is tended to on a regular basis and aim to maintain the temperature at a minimum of 25 degrees Celsius. There is parking on the property s driveway.
