For something a little more leisurely, the popular attractions of the Powysland Museum, the Textile Museum and the National Trust s Chirk and Powis castles are only a short drive away. Further afield, southern Snowdonia is 20 miles away and a trip to the coast is just 32 miles away. Inside, this property has been thoughtfully fitted and furnished for modern day life, while retaining plenty of original charm through exposed beams, an inglenook fireplace, wooden floorboards and wall panelling. With two kitchens, a utility room and wine cellar, there is ample space and equipment to store and prepare delicious group meals. A large dining room with long banquet table sets the scene for memorable celebrations. The lounge and drawing rooms each offer comfortable seating, ornate furnishings, feature fireplaces and woodburners, while the snug features a TV and DVD for cosy movie nights and the reading room offers a peaceful space to get away from it all. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom and shower room. On the first floor are two beautifully decorated super king size bedrooms (one accessed via a separate staircase from the second kitchen), one shower room. There are also two king size bedrooms (one with four poster bed), one with en suite bathroom featuring a fantastic free standing bath and separate shower, together with an additional single bed and cot. On the second floor is one king size with cot, one double, one double bed with additional single bed, and one super king size with two additional single beds. two There is also a family bathroom with a further opulent free standing bath and separate shower. From the second floor, a winding wooden staircase leads up to a fantastic games room located in the eaves of the house. Here you will find an air hockey, mini pool and football table together with toys, board games, a TV and Wii. Outside, there is a large gravelled area with ample furniture and a BBQ for hosting sunny al fresco lunches.
