Set in a peaceful central location within the picturesque coastal town of Portree, on the mystical Isle of Skye. Stroll along to the Pier to watch the fishing boats unload and buy your fresh crabs and prawns directly from the boats and shop. Fish from the end of the Pier, great for older children. The town has quirky shops, friendly pubs and a variety of restaurants from Michelin Guide to Fish & Chips. Walking, climbing, horse riding, golf and kayaking are all available close by, with the magnificent Quiraing, Neist point, The Old Man of Storr and Cuillin range to explore. Take a local boat trip to see offshore wildlife and the spectacular scenery, in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. On entering this lovely quirky accommodation on the ground floor, you will find the spacious lounge with comfy seating to relax and watch TV or a DVD. Next to the lounge is the kitchen/diner with seating, well equipped kitchen with Aga, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is also a utility/study area with washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge. Taking the stairs from the lounge to the first floor you will find two tastefully decorated bedrooms, one double bedroom with en suite bath and WC and one double with custom made vanity wash basin. Continuing up to the second floor to the comfortable twin bedroom. A shower room with shower and WC. Stepping back outside and directly opposite the property is the beachfront garden with the red telephone box and seating area to enjoy a wee dram while watching the amazing sunsets over Portree Bay. Off road parking available.
